Keeping you updated on all things Oxigen
What makes Oxigen so attractive to new customers?
Maybe it's our magnets!
We go above and beyond the others to ensure that we recover every piece of recyclable material from waste streams before the remainder is disposed of.
And that's where this bad boy comes in.
The ROCO M1250 super-duper magnet separates all ferrous material from our customers' general waste, meaning we can recycle even those items that didn't make it to your recycle bin!
And that means even more recovery and diversion from landfill!
So how's that for looking after our customers and working for a cleaner environment!

Hi Stephen. Does the non recycling waste go to landfill in Ireland or does any of it go to another country? Is any of it incinerated? Thanks
Great question Michael. Once we have extracted all possible recyclable material, any remaining non-recyclable waste is processed and sent for 'Recovery to Waste to Energy' facilities in Co. Meath and Dublin – where it is used as fuel to produce electricity and heat.
Correct Michael, our recovery and process model means 0% of Oxigen's domestic customer waste goes to landfill.
That is pretty good. Thanks. Just as feedback I think that would be hugely important for Oxigen to have on their page. Speaking for myself, I couldn't find it without asking you here. This would be a major decider for me consdiering which waste companies to use. Thanks
We will definitely be adding this to the list of updates to the site Michael. We want it to be a 1-stop-shop for all waste management information so people who care about how their waste is processed, like your good self, can make a quick and educated decision and come onboard with Oxigen. Working for a cleaner environment is our motto and we want everybody to know about it - easily.
