Ready to launch your career in Commercial Truck Driving?

Oxigen is a great place to launch your career in commercial truck driving. We understand that gaining a commercial driving licence is sometimes daunting and expensive, so giving our team members the opportunity to learn and gain a truck licence is beneficial for our employees as well as taking steps forward in repairing Ireland's shortage of commercial drivers.

Oxigen offers two pathways in which our staff can gain a C / CE licence:

  1. Taking lessons and tests in a local driving test centres, with all expenses paid by Oxigen.
  2. Joining an Apprenticeship Scheme in ATU Sligo which runs during the academic year, in which apprentices attend online and in person classes to gain their licence and to learn more about logistics and safety.

Oxigen offers Option 1 all year round for general operatives that want to learn how to drive a commercial vehicle and take the test for the C / CE licence in their own time. Option 2 is available to employees during the academic year (i.e. September - June), in which they will have to dedicate one day a week to their classes.
