Thousands of people took advantage of a Halloween amnesty at our recycling centres across Meath over the weekend after it was organised to stop combustible waste ending up on bonfires.
An estimated 2,000 people visited the civic amenity centres in Navan, Trim and Kells to dispose of beds, mattresses, headboards, couches, tables and chairs for a €2 entry fee on Friday and Saturday.
